The soldbuch shows overall normal signs of wear. It's solid and complete with all pages. The portrait of Robert is also present. In September 1939 Robert served in the 7.batterie Reserve Flak Abteilung 333 until early 1940 when he switched to Reserve Festungs Flak Scheinwerfer Abteilung 330. He spend most of his time in the 4.batterie Reserve Flak Abteiling 433. Other unit where schwere Flak Abteilung 135, schwere Flak Abteilung 245 and leichte Flak Abteilung 915.
Robert earned, at least, the Schutzenwall-Ehrenzeichen (Westwall medal) and the Eisernes Kreuz II.Klasse (see page 2). With the Soldbuch comes the death notice of Robert that was in the newspaper. Robert survived the war and died on the 3rd of December 1996.
