The postcard shows overall normal signs of wear. Signed on the back with 'Heinz Wessels Feldpostn. 04091'. This Feldpostnummer is linked to the 4.(H)Staffel Aufklärungsgruppe 22. This Staffel was formed in November 1938 in Kassel-Rothwesten and was equipped with Hs126 planes (reconnaissance planes). It participated in the invasion of France as part of the IX.Armeekorps and in 1941 in the Balkans campaign were it flew for the III.Panzerkorps.
