The set shows overall signs of wear. Probably it was opened at some point or reframed, but every thing is solid in place. The grouping belonged to a member of the 6.Batterie Flak Regiment 5.
Consist out:
- Iron Cross 2nd Class

- Österreichisches Bundesheer Bestschieszen Medal
- Large 6 Batterie Unit Portrait
The size of the frame is approximately 39cm x 34cm.
I.Abteilung Flak Regiment 5 was formed in October 1935 with 5 batteries in München. It saw combat during the invasion of France and later in Norway. Until July 1942 it was in North Norway and Finnland supporting the Wehrmacht Gebirgsjager units. In mid 1942 the unit moved to South Russia and fought in areas like Rostov and Shmerinka.
