Details

The helmet shows overall normal signs of wear. It contains around 95% of its original blue color. This type of helmet was produced and then marked 'Edelstahl', hence the name, but were also issued unmarked. This one is unmarked.
The decal on front is also present.
The helmet is complete with its original, period placed liner. It's sized marked 57. The leather is supple and solid. The black leather chin strap shows a bit more wear. A small piece is missing, but most of it is present. The short section of the chin strap is a rare quick release variant.
This type of helmet was more used by the SS, Polizei and Feuerschützpolizei then the Luftschutz.
