The whistle shows overall normal signs of wear. It's in working order. Nicely marked by the maker 'Aug. Lüneburg' from Kiel. This is the correct type of whistle as used in the Kriegsmarine, but was privately purchased. The company August Lüneburg existed before World War 1 and also during World War 2. It comes with a braided lanyard.
