The album shows overall signs of wear, but it's solid and complete with 46 photographs (1 Photograph is loose). The photos shows some of the landscape and coastline of Port Vendres in France, but also military related photographs. We know it's Port Vendres because the name of the developer is on the back of a couple of photographs. The unit that was based in this port is the Marine Artillerie Abteilung 615. This unit was formed in the summer of 1943 and fell under te command of Seekommandanten Languedoc. It started with 3 batteries and later it had 5 batteries. The unit was destroyed in August 1944. On a couple of photos we see that Konteradmiral Adalbert Zuckschwerdt visited the unit. Some of the photographs have writing on the back.
