Often given as a gift by the company or purchased privately by the soldier at the end of his service. This piece was probably from a former cavalry soldier, hence the beautiful curved ‘plaque’ with a horse, sabers, and a helmet at the top of the stick. The colors of the attached cords are probably the colors of the company in which he served.
The total length is approx. 90cms.
