Nice Wehrpass that belonged to a Leutnant who served within the 5.Staffel Kampfgeschwader 26.

The Wehrpass and contents shows overall normal signs of wear. It's solid and complete with all pages and portrait of Hans. Every page with entries have been scanned. The pass belonged to Hans Joachim Weise. Hans was drafted in december 1941 into the 5.Kompanie Flieger Ausbildungs Regiment 63. In Februari 1942 he switched units and went to the Luftkriegsschule 3 and served within the 2.Fahnenjunkerkompanie. In Januari 1943 he went to the Flugzugführerschule for 3 months before going to the Blindflugschule 6 for 17 days. From April 1943 until the 17/18 August 1944 Hans served in the 5.Staffel Kampfgeschwader 26 'Löwen'. Here Hans flew, or was part of a crew, of a Junkers Ju88 (LT). The 'LT' stands for Lufttorpedo.

According the Wehrpass Hans went missing during a mission in the South of France in the night of 17/18 August 1944. The II.Gruppe was stationed in Valence, France and came into action during Operation Dragoon, the Allied invasion of Southern France, which started on the 15th of August.

Hans was skilled to operated the K98, P08, MG15, 7,65mm Pistol, MP40, MG81 and MG131. He also followed the training course of Blidfluglehrgang and a Lufttorpedo lehrgang within the Kampfgeschwader 102.
