Details

The frog shows overall signs of wear. The leather is supple and solid. It comes with a brown leather retaining strap which was added later. We got it like this and leave it up to the buyer what to do with it. It sits firm in place. On the back the frog is marked by the manufacturer 'TEXLED' from Litzmannstadt and dated 1943. TEXLED is short for Textil- und Lederverwertung and was an SS lead factory that used slave labourers to produce equipment for the Wehrmacht and the SS.
Frog by this maker are a bit harder to find.
