The photograph shows overall minor signs of wear. The Major is wearing his schirmmutze and Viertschenrock. He is highly decorated with WW1 (EK1 Bavarain Obsever Badge), but also Third Reich awards such as the Beobachterabzeichen, KVK, 1.October Anschluss and more.
Note the kokarde of his visor cap which he replaced by himself. The size of the photograph is 8,5cms*13,5cms.
