Gebirgsjägerschule Related Soldier's Portrait
The photograph shows overall normal signs of wear. The soldier is wearing a private made Bergmutze made from light grey/green fabric. He is also wearing his combat tunic. The 'S' slip-ons on his shoulder strap means the soldier was a 'Mitglied der Gebirgsjägerschule' (served within the army mountain training school). A DRL Sportabzeichen is attached on his breast pocket.
There is and handwritten message on the back. It's marked by the developer and dated 1.5.1942.
