The photograph shows overall no signs of wear. Complete with caption on the back. It shows a unit running to their firing position. Note the first soldier carrying a MP40. All soldiers wearing their white Bergmutze cover and there white smocks. The caption on the back reads, 'Die alarmierte Mannschaft bezieht die Postenstände der Eisstellungen'.
The size of the photograph is approx 12cm *17cm. Stamped on the back 'Gebirgsjägerschule Lehrgruppe Lichtbildstelle'.
