Details

The photograph shows overall normall signs of wear. The soldier is wearing his field tunic and Bergmütze. The friendly looking soldier has his awards pinned on his left breast pocket. The Infanterie Sturmabzeichen in Silber, Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz. Eisernes Kreuz 1.Klasse and the buttonhole ribbon tells us he was also awarded the Eisernes Kreuz 2.Klasse.
The size of the portrait is approx. 9cm * 14cm. The photo is dated on the back 'Innsbruck, 4.2.1942' and the text 'Zur Erinnerung dein Sepp'.
