Very nice Gebirgsjäger photo album including a soldiers diary.

The album shows signs of wear but is solid and complete with all pages. It contains a total of 154 photographs. The first picture shows General 'Julius 'Papa' Ringel' visiting the unit. Most of the photos were taken during different moments of the war in Croatia, Serbia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and Greece.
The interesting thing about this album is that it contains (at the back) a personal diary (25 pages) that tells the journey through the eyes of a soldier, starting in Germany (Innsbruck) on 22 February 1941 and ending in Greece (Chalkis) on 15 May 1941.
