The overall condition of this early to mid war mountain cap is very good. It's shows normal signs of wear. It's made out of feldgrau wool and the outside is complete with it's hand applied Bevo T-Shaped eagle, 2 'Steinnuss' buttons and Edelweiss Mütze abzeichen. The Edelweiss is probably later added, because there is no 'ghost' underneath it.
On the inside it's complete with it's sweatband and stiffened front to the crown. The Mütze is marked by it's maker 'Otto Wesely' from 'Wien' and it's als depot stamped but to hard to read, due to wear. The size is approx '56'
(Last photo is with a piece of filling material)
Overall a very nice Bergmütze, which are not so easy to find nowadays.
