The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall normal signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who was schooled/drafted in the I.Schülerkompanie Fliegerwaffenschule See Parow. This schule was formed in Ocotber 1935. In January 1940 it was renamed into Fliegerwaffenschule (See) 1 and in and in February 1942 it was renamed into Grosse Kampffliegerschule (See) 5.
It trained the gunners for the Luftwaffe.
