The canister contains all of it's wartime green painted color and is in excellent condition. It's complete with matching straps which are also in perfect condition and both marked and dated '37'. Inside the canister, at the bottom, the retaining spring is in place (cloth is missing). The spare glasses are present in the small compartment (the lid is also marked). The gasmask (marked '39) itself is a green canvas one and complete with filter (multiple marked, see photo's) and all the straps. Overall a very nice set which would look perfect on an early display.
