Early Gebirgstruppe Reversible Windbluse 42
Very nice Wehrmacht 'Windbluse 42' or 'Reversible Camouflage Anorak' widely used by the gebirgstruppe.
The 'Windbluse 42' was intended for wearing over a uniform. This is one of the earliest cotton-canvas versions made with an olive/grayish colored exterior and white colored interior. It shows overall normal signs of wear (has some stains and user wear). All the period buttons(on both sides) are present . It also has it's white drawstrings on the upper chest, the white waist drawstring and the 2 friction buckles to seal the cloth around the wrists. The friction buckles are a bit rusted, but workable. They need a little bit of TLC, but we'll leave this up to the buyer.
The windbluse is maker marked on the overlapping wind flap (in the neck) and size marked 'I'. See the last photo for the sizes in cms
