Very nice and rare Funkkraftwagen emergency ration storage box in very good condition.

The box shows overall normal signs of wear. Produced in 1937 and originally issued in the famous 3-tone Reichswehr camouflage. This is visible under the layer of grey paint which was period applied. On top remains of 'Fu.53' and 'Eis.Portion' can be seen. The same text is on the frontside clearly visible. A box like this was part of a Funkerkraftwagen and/or funker related cart. It contained emergency rations for the unit. It was always locked and the commander was the only person with the key.
