The booklet shows overall normal signs of wear. It's solid and complete with all 39 pages. The title of the booklet is 'The German Family for the Commitment of the Youth'.
The message on the 1st page reads, 'Dear Parents, Your fourteen-year-old child will be committed to the Fuhrer on Sunday, 26 March 1944, and will be transferred from the Jungvolk/Jungmädelbund to the Hitler Youth/Bund deutscher Mädel'. 'The ceremony for the commitment of the youth will take place on Sunday, 26 March 1944 at 10:30 a.m. in the town hall'.
