Very nice US press photo in used, but very good condition.
The photograph shows overall normal signs of storage wear. It's complete with typed description on the front which says 'Dead German in GI-Clothing'. The German soldier is one of SS-Standartenführer Otto Skorzenys' men who was killed during Operation Greif, a German operation within the Battle of Bulge with the task of capturing 1 of more bridges over the Meuse river. His soldiers wore captured British and American uniforms and drove captured Allied vehicle and were to cause confision in the rear of the Allied lines.
The release date of the photo was December 1944. The size of the photograph is 25,5cms*18cms.
