Very nice chocolat brown leather Wehrmacht k98 ammo pouch in used, but good condition.

The pouch shows overall normal signs of wear. The leather is supple and solid. All the inner partitions are present. Marked on the back by the maker and dated 1937. It has multiple markings on the inside such as L.B.A.(s.) which stands for 'Luftwaffe Bekleidungsamt Stettin', Fest.Flak.Abt.31 which stands for Festungs Flak Abteilung 31.
This unit was formed in the summer of 1938 in Trier. In August 1939 the abteilung was enlarged and renamed into Festungs Flak Regiment 31. In July 1940 it was stationed/operated in the Cherbourg (France) area. In July 1941 the regiment was used to form Flak Regiment 59. This regiment operated in the Paris area.
