The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall signs of wear. It's still solid. It belongend to a NCO/CO who served within the Ausbildungskommando Feldluftzeug Gruppe West Frankreich. This unit was formed in 1940 and operated fram a base in Dreux, near Paris. A Feldzeug unit was a military technical and logistics unit.
The back is marked with 'Blut Gr.A' which stands for the soldiers' bloodtype.
