The album comes from our private collection and is not only a beautiful photo album (25 cm x 20 cm, 111 photos) with very very! sharp pictures, but also a story and a work of art with amazing! drawings. This album has it all. It belonged to a soldier who was drafted in the 5.kompanie Gebirgsjäger Eratz Bataillon 99. The photos show, among other: shooting exercises photo's, soldiers in their spare time (drinking ;-)), gebirgsjägers training in the mountains, many photos of the famous short-barrelled mountain 'Gebirggeschütz' artillery, inspection visits by generals (Wachenfeld and Graf), photo's of Gebirgsjägers playing soccer (note the shirts with eagle!), etc., etc..
