The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served in the '7.Batterie Schwere Flak Abteilung 524'. This abteilung was formed in April 1940 in Bochum with 5 batteries. In late 1943 the 7.batterie was formed from RAD members (RAD 3./245). It operated the entire war in the Bochum area.
The 'B' on both parts of the tag stands for the soldier's bloodtype.
