The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall normals signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served within the 3.Zug Fla.M.G. Reserve Kompanie 53. This unit was formed in September 1939. In early 1940 it was renamed into leichte Reserve-Flak-Batterie 53.
The 'A' on both parts of the tag stands for the soldier's bloodtype.
