The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall normal signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who was drafted in the 3.Kompanie Beobachtungs Ersatz Abteilung 7. This unit was formed in August 1939 in München. It trained and supplied soldiers for 4 different Beobachtungs Abteilung and Leichte -und Stellungs Beobachtungs Abteilung.
The 'A' on both parts on the back of the tag stands for the soldier's bloodtype.
