The EKM Is in overall worn, but very good and solid condition. The 2nd company was formed in March 1939 as the Panzer-Funk-Kompanie of Nachtrichten Abteilung 79. This unit was part of the 4.Panzer-Divsision and saw its first combat during the invasion of the Low Countries in May 1940. Holland,Belgium and onwards to France. In 1941 it participated in the invasion of Russia during Operation Barbarossa. It fought in areas like Tula, Orel,Kursk, Bobruisk,Kowel and Kurland. The 'B' on both sides stands for the bloodtype of the soldier.
