Details

The Wehrpass shows normal signs of use. It's solid and complete with all pages. It belonged to Oberschütze and later Unteroffizier Fritz Rodler. After serving in the Reichsarbeitdienst Heinrich was drafted into the Infanterie Nachrichten Ersatz Kompanie 46. He served with this unit from 1.10.1940 untill 27.5.1941. After that he served for nearly 2 years in Feldeisenbahn Betriebs Abteilung 17. This unit was stationed in the area of Welikije Luki in Northen Russia since November 1941. On 26.8.1943 Fritz switched units to Gebirgskorps Nachrichten abteilung 415 unit and served with this unit until his dead on the 23.9.1944. This unit was part of the 15.Gebirgs-Armeekorps and saw action in Croatia. Fritz was killed by a vehicle accident in Croatia on the 23.9.1944. Fritz earned the Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2.Klasse and the Ostmedaille.
