The overall condition of the canteen is good. The leather straps are souple and in good condition (some surface cracks, but this is no issue). The felt cover is also in good condition and marked with 'S.S.L.38'. The screw lid and canteen are marked with the same number 'S.S.L.38'. The canteen comes with a black painted aluminium cup that still contains 80% of its color. It has the same maker as the rest of the canteen. The carrying strap has, what it looks like, some initials.
