All documents are in very good condition. They belonged to a Gebirgsjäger named Hans Johann Kahr. According to the grouping Johann first served in the 14.Kompanie Gebirgsjäger Regiment 99. He later switched to the 16.(panzerabwehr) Kompanie Gebirgsjäger Regiment 98.
The grouping consist out;
- Large portrait of Johann wearing his Waffenrock
- Wedding photograph (postcard size)
- Group photograph of Johann with his unit (postcard size)
- 2 Photographs of Johann his grave (postcard size)
- Zivilerlaubniskarte
- Kraftfahrerführer certificate. Dated 1936. Johann served in Geb.Jag.Rgt.99
- Nationaler Fahrerausweis 1938. Dated Juni 1938. Marked 14.Geb.Jäg.Rgt.98
- Dienstauszeichnung IV.Klasse award document. Dated Oktober 1936. Signed by Oberst Ludwig Kübler commander of the Gebirgs-Brigade.
- Commemorative document to Stabsfeldwebel Hans (first name) Kahr that says that Kahr was wounded on 23.9.1941 whilst helping a wounded fellow soldier. He died on the 27.9.1941.
He died in the Timoschewka area. It's not 100% sure, but he lays at the war cemetery Iasi.
