The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who was drafted in the 13.Lehrbatterie Artillerie Lehr Regiment (motorisiert) 3. This batterie was part of the IV.Vermessungs- und Karten-Ersatz-Abteilung. It was stationed in Jüterborg. In August 1943 the IV.Abteilung bcame part of Artillerie Lehr Regiment 4.
The 'AB' on both parts of the tag stands for the soldier's bloodtype.
