The condition is of the stein is used but good. It has one very old crack which is period repaired and still very solid. The lid is missing, but its still a wonderfull display piece.
It's marked '10/20L' (Holds half a litre) on the left side of the handle and maker marked on the bottom with a logo, which indicates de beer stein was produced by 'Marzi & Remy Steinzeugwarenfabrik und Zinngiesserei' from 'Hesse-Nassau'.
The beer stein was given to a member of the '12 (MG) Kompanie Gebirgsjäger Bataillon 3' during 'Weihnachten (Christmas) 1930'.
Awesome piece and not easy to find.
