The photograph shows overall normal signs of wear. It's complete with caption on the back that reads 'Die grosse Materialschlacht im Westen' (The great material battle in the West). This photo was taken in November 1944 during the Battle of the Hurtgen Forest.
Two German soldiers standing next to a knocked-out American M10 tank destroyer. On the right a Sdkfz halftrack is passing by. The halftrack has the Windhund insignia on the front. Which was the insignia of the 116.Panzer-Division.
