The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall normal signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who was drafted in the 1.Kompanie Rekruten Ausbildung Abteilung der Division z.b.V.406. Divisionskommando z.b.V. 406 was formed in October 1939 in Münster. It had 12 different Landesschützen Bataillon under its command.
