The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke shows overall normal signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who was drafted in the 1.Kompanie Luftwaffe Bau Ersatz Bataillon VII. This bataillon was formed in 1943 in Landau. It trained and supplied soldiers for different Bau units.
It was disbanned in March 1943.
