The tag shows overall normal signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served within the 1.kompanie Feld Ersatz Bataillon 25. This bataillon was formed in August 1939 as part of the 25.Infanterie-Division. During the years the bataillon was disbanned a couple of times, but was alway rebuild/reformed again. The division was renamed into the 25.Panzergrenadier-Division in June 1943. Feld Ersatz Bataillon 25 was destroyed in June 1944 as part of Heeresgruppe Mitte, but rebuild again in January 1945. In the last stage of the war the 25.Panzergrenadier-Division and her units fought in the Oder area.
The 'Blutgr.B' on both parts of the tag stands for the soldier's bloodtype.
Feld Ersatz Bataillon related tags are not easy to find.
