The dog tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served in the 'Stab und Nachrichten Batterie Flak Ersatz Abteilung 25'. This abteilung was formed in December 1940 in Mährisch-Ostrau. In late 1941/early 1942 it was converted in to Schwere Flak Ersatz Abteilung 25. It was stationed in Mährisch-Ostrau the entire war. From 1941-45 it was under command of the Flak Ersatz Regiment 6
The 'Blgr.A' means the bloodtype of the soldier.
