Very nice Reichswehr/early Wehrmacht period gasmask canister in used but excellent condition.

The canister shows overall normal signs of wear. It contains nearly all of its original color. Dated on the inside of the lid 1935. On the bottom it was inspected and therefor stamped with a WaA marking and dated 1938. When the Reichswehr became the Wehrmacht large numbers of units where still equipped with this type of canister. This is however a transitional example between the standard Reichswehr canister and the short Wehrmacht canister.
