Very nice sef of an KvKII and Ostmedaille award documents awarded to Unteroffizier Amand Scholz.

The overall condition of both documents is very good. They have been folded. The Kriegsverdienst Kreuz was awarded on the 25th of August 1941 whist serving the Bruckenkolonne of Pionier Bataillon 162 as a Gefreiten. This unit fell under, and fought, with the 62.Infanterie-Division. This division saw its first action in Belgium and was later moved to Poland. From 1941 on it moved to Cholm,Kiev,Charkow and Belgorod. In early 1944 is merged together with the 123.Infanterie-Division. The document is signed by Generalmajor Rudolf Friedrich. The Ostmedaille was awarded on the 19th of November 1944 whilst serving in the 1st Kompanie of Pionier Bataillon 1544 as an Unteroffizier. The bataillon was formed in the winter of 1944/45 and fell under te command of the 544.Volks-Grenadier-Division.
