Nice worn dog tag from a soldier who served in the 4.Kompanie Pionier Ersatz Bataillon 20.
The dog tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows normal signs of wear. The bataillon was formed in August 1939 in Hamburg-Harburg. It fell under Division 160. It trained and delivered soldiers for different Pionier, Panzer Pionier, Stellungsbau-Rahmen-Bataillone and Einweisungs-Abteilungen.
The 'O' stands for the soldier's bloodtype.
