Very nice and rare 1.Kompanie Ersatz Abteilung Regiment General Göring dog tag in worn, but good condition.
The dog tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows signs of wear. The soldier served in the 1.Kompanie Ersatz Abteilung Regiment General Göring. This abteilung was formed in 1939 as Flak-Ersatz-Abteilung General Göring and moved in May 1940 to Utrecht (Holland). In March 1942 it was named Ersatz Bataillon Hermann Göring and still stationed in Utrecht. In 1944 it was renamed in Fallschirm-Panzer-Ersatz- und Ausbildungs-Regiment Hermann Göring.
The 'A' on both parts of the ekm means the bloodtype of the soldier.
Hard to find dog tag.
